Due to the change of events for WingNut Wings in 2020, Border Model has ended up acquiring the moulds for this kit. They have spent the last year doing more testing, fixing, including making instructions without design drawings in order to make this epic kit a success. Border Models’ insanely detailed 1/32-scale Avro Lancaster B Mk.I/III with a full interior is now available! It can be built with the FN20 or FN120 turret; you can choose between normal tires and self-weight deformed ones. Various bombs are included, as are a set of early and late propellers, among many other items! A metal barrel is included as a bonus with the first release of this kit (the metal barrel is only available with the first release; if yours does not include this item, it was not part of the first release). Any aircraft fan will love this spectacular kit — place your order today!

Airfix Hawker Typhoon MkIb 1:24
0 out of 5(0)Introduced into service in 1941, the Hawker Typhoon was designed to be the RAF's new ultimate interceptor fighter. Superceding the Hawker Hurricane it was hoped that the Typhoon, together with the Spitfire, would be a powerful and effective opponent of the Luftwaffe. However, it was not to be. Initially plagued by mechanical woes from the engine and suffering from a deficit in performance at high altitude, the Typhoon instead found fame as a low level attack aircraft, a role to which it was both well-suited and hugely effective.

0 out of 5(0)Under Walter Owen Bentley’s tactical team management, Birkins role was to draw the Mercedes of Carraciola and Werner into a high speed duel, which he successfully acheived. The Blower lead from the start, swapping the lead with the Mercedes throughout the night, until eventually the German car withdrew with a blown engine. Birkin’s success came at a cost, as he had to retire after 20 hours with a bent valve, leaving the two Speed 6’s to take 1st and 2nd Places.
