RLM are the initials of Reich Luftfahrt Ministerium, a prefix commonly used by some Luftwaffe historians and widely accepted.
German documents didn’t really use this term, instead they only refer to each colour by its number in the colour system colour by its number in the colour system.

RLM (Reichs Luftfahrt Ministerium) colors with new formulations, revised on the basis of an extensive study and review of the exact shades of the available documentation and most recent bibliographies.
The new RLM sets include profiles of the aircraft by Mark Rolfe, showing the various RLM colour combinations used in the camouflage patterns, as well as information about their application and
purpose.

With the collaboration of the “Pieza a Pieza Modelling Workshop”.

This set with 8 Model Air colors is developed for camouflage patterns of any type WWII Luftwaffe aircraft previous to the WW II and the Spanish Civil War (Cóndor Legion), as well as for the campaigns and initial phases of the conflict in Poland, Northern Europe, and the battles of France and England.

* These new sets replace earlier versions and include in some cases new colors.

RLM 61: Standard upper surface camouflage color, combined with RLM 62/63. Pre-WWII and “Legión Cóndor“. Fighters, bombers, reconnaissance and transport aircraft, etc.

RLM 62: Standard upper surface camouflage color, combined with RLM 61/63. Pre-WWII and “Legión Cóndor”. Fighters, bombers, reconnaissance and transport aircraft, etc.
RLM 63: Standard upper surface camouflage color, combined with RLM 61/62. Pre-WWII and “Legión Cóndor”. Fighters, bombers, reconnaissance and transport aircraft, etc.
RLM 65: Standard lower surface color, used on fighters until middle 1941, and all other aircraft (bombers, reconnaissance, transport and maritime, etc.) from 1938 to 1945.
RLM 70: Standard camouflage color for upper surface, combined with RLM 71. Fighters from 1938 to beginning 1940, and other aircraft (bombers, reconnaissance, transport, etc.) from 1938 to 1945.
RLM 71: Standard camouflage color for upper surface, combined w ith RLM 70. Fighters from 1938 to beginning of 1940, and other aircraft, (bombers, reconnaissance, transport, etc.) from 1938 until 1945.
RLM 02: Color for interiors until middle 1941, and upper camouflage for fighters, combined with RLM 71 until 1941, and mottled camouflage until 1945.
RLM 04: Color for tactical identification (fuselage stripes, wing tips, engine zone, etc.) and for lettering, numbers and insignia. From 1938 until 1945.
