The Micro PT-17 With Big Presence
Inspired by the widely-used biplane, the UMX PT-17 from E-Flite is a bold RC plane. This version of the PT-17 features a trim scheme modelled on the larger-scale plane owned by Pat Hartness, founder of the Joe Nall event held at Triple Tree Aerodome in South Carolina. The model plane comes fully-assembled out of the box and features great scale details including a dummy radial engine. Its four-channel control gives you great handling on the ground and the maneuverability to perform amazing scale aerobatics. Another great feature of the PT-17 is the inclusion of Artificial Stabilisation Three Axis (AS3X) Technology, which is built into the Spektrum 6-channel ultra-micro receiver. AS3X gives this E-Flite plane a very solid feel in the air. It works behind the scenes to counter the effects of wind and turbulence, thanks to its three-axis sensing combined with specially-tuned flight control software. This technology helps the plane to fly smoothly, allowing you to focus on maneuvers such as low and slow passes. Please note that this plane comes as a Bind-N-Fly model, so you will need to supply your own transmitter. Please refer to the “What You Need” section for more details.
